P2074 code

i finally changed the "Air Charge Temperature Sensor", its the sensor that seats on the big ruber pipe (part# HC3Z-6F073-B) that connects to the intercooler.

but befor replacing just the sensor, remove the pipe to check if its busted, because that usually happens.
If the pipe is busted , buy the replacement pipe (HC3Z-6F073-B) wich usually comes with a new sensor as well.

After i replaced the "Air Charge Temperature Sensor" the code hasn't come on, its been about 4k miles already.
Good alternative info, my truck throws the P2074 but it takes a while to come back, it used to be a week or more after I cleaned up the very plugged and gunked up sensor, but it's been happening more frequently lately.

I'm going to check my charge air sensor and the EGR for being stuck before throwing parts at it.

Thanks to all who have input your experiences on this thread, its helped me think outside of the box on this code.

The CEL bugs me, but the performance and fuel milage is pretty normal, so I suspect it's a minor issue related to my milage (360k)and not a hard parts issue.
