I have a 87Bronco II
The problem is Flywheels ,I've replaced 2 in a year .
they keep breaking where they bolt to the crank.
Yes both the thing will work for a very short while then BANG no go...
I knowthis cant be right,I'm a wrench and can repare a truck...LOL no but is there something wrong with this that you might know That I don't ?

Hey Jim, I was just checking back to see if I could assist with someone left behind. Maybe it'll help.
You need to have the flywheel weigh the same as the harmonic balancer on the front. The weight should be stamped on it. If not, you'll have to remove it and have it weighed. They are usually 50oz. Your machine shop can mill down the flywheel, or add weights if needed, and then balance it. You shouldn't have any more problems from then on.
