Around here, probably $400-$500, but our prices always seem to be higher than back East.

The Bronco D44 is really only valuble to those who think the D30 is too weak. But a lot of them swap to a either a full width D44 or D60. Some will cut a full with D44 down to EB size since they are a high pinion.

The 76 - 77 Bronco Dana 44 may have disc brakes already but you are limited on what wheels you could use , and tie rods/steering set ups.
I would rather use a drum brake dana 44 and swap in F150 disc knuckles.

Fella wants to sell me 1 for $100.
Anywhere to get the process on cutting it down for the EB?
I will have a 250/4.1 Lt motor in (Maverick mounts 'sloted') so it will B lower in the frame than current 170/2.8 Lt. Think it will bit the HP d44 w/1" BL and 2" SL?
Thanks.

Here's few different methods:

Narrowing A Dana 44 Axle Assembly
Narrowing a HP Dana 44 for an Early Bronco

I don't know if it will hit with your setup, but a HP will usually cause clearance issues with oil pan and exhaust on stock rigs.
