Needs new steering components (steers hard) and bench seat needs repair. no dents w/ flat black paint. Also have a 68 289 w/2 barrel and c4 auto trans w/ 67,000 mi. that run exc. when it was pulled(I was there) complete. Can anyone tell me what I could sell it all for? Thanks in advance. She's licensed and tagged. John P.S. I can't find out why it was salvaged.
Ranchero's needing restoration range from $2000-3500 depending on the area you live in and the rust it may have. There are few in the 60-65 vintage that don't need an entire floor. Ask me how I know. The salvage title impacts that significantly though, regardless whether you can figure out why or not. ~50% depending on what it all comes with that is of value. Being a unibody the structure needs to be sound.
Used 302 doesn't add much since it'll need to be gone through to know it's real condition. Maybe $300 as a core. If the current motor is a decent runner, it may help offset the salvage bit somewhat and push it more towards the high-end of the range.
