I need to change the fluid in mine, it would really suck if i had it blow at 100+ mph. I'm sure that would make a hell of a bang!

Just for reference it's difficult to compare the two. Saying it's just a bigger version of the NP231 is like saying an F750 is just a bigger version of an F250. Well...I guess, kinda. But our trucks have selectable hubs with stub outers rather than unit bearings that are explicitly designed to be "locked" 24/7. It makes no sense to run our trucks locked on the road just for the helluvit, using more fuel and adding premature wear on parts that aren't designed to be spinning on the highway all the time.
