Hey guys, just put a new slave cylinder and rebuilt
my master cylinder in my m5od-r2 tranny. Now it feels like my clutch is a lot softer. Just wondering if that is normal? Or could be because of the fluid I used? What are you guys running for tranny fluid? It seems to shift normal, and no longer leaks fluid..
Double check that it's completely bled. Sometimes the hose being plastic will hold a few bubbles, some light taps with a screw driver handle will move the bubbles. The bubbles may work themselves up to the MC by themselves so keep an eye on your fluid level

When I bled the lines I noticed quite a few bubbles in the MC, maybe ill just have to do it some more. Any recomendations on fluid?
For the MC I'm used to using brake fluid but I run f350s so I use dot4. For tranies I use 80/140, sluggish in the winter and stiff shifting when cold but then again, I run f350s with a np435 and duallies. You should be good with a 80 weight unless your syncros need something else. Try to google it and see what the specs say, trany is to new for my chilton to have it listed.
