Power Steering Flush

I'm getting ready to flush my power steering. What Mercon V oil do you recommend? I was thinking synthetic (Mobil 1) but is it worth it?

I just use the FoMoCo Mercon-V. I service mile when I do the transmission maintenance.

I'm looking for a video I found that shows the front of the truck off the ground a inch or sow which makes it very east to do while moving the wheel back and forth. Only takes half the time or less to flush it bright red.

I use Mobil 1 in mine. If you are parked on smooth concrete (like a garage) just slip a section of cardboard under each tire and the wheel is a breeze to turn as there is very little friction at the tire. Saves you the time of jacking it up

Get the cheapest Mercon V available, and keep changing it regularly. The recipe is all the same. Spending more $ doesn't make the Mercon V better!
