I like the sound, mine was leaking for ages sill I put some leakfix type stuff in, worked a treat but the errrrr is louder than ever and the noise turns more heads than my V8 porsche :-)

I have given up on the P/S "Errrrrrrrrrrrrr." I don't think there is any thing any one can do. I read a TSB from Ford, and they said to use a "tuned high pressure hose," whatever that is 
I think that's Ford's way of saying they can't do jack about it either

a full flush with Mobil 1 Mercon and 2 oz of LubeGuard "Red" made mine as quiet as a kitten.
was the dirtiest power steering fluid I had ever seen, didn't know pwr rack and pinion was so hard on pwr steering fluid atf.
tried the turkey baster suck and fill but never got it clean until i did the return line off drain and fill several times.
Ford has high pressure pwr steering hydralic system so when the driver takes it hard against the lock parking and holds it, pump fries the hyd. pwr steering fluid ATF.
