Hello,
I bought my primary fuel filter module drain plug upgrade from Diesel Filters Online part# 6E7Z-9C082-A didn't install until I needed to do my service. Installed it with a little lube on o-ring, it has a long stub that screws somewhere inside the filter module so when you open the drain it does not fall and allows the fuel to come out, well,,, I installed both filters (primary and secondary) the truck started after a few minutes shut off, I opened the secondary and the bowl was empty, had a friend open the ignition switch and bubbles but no fuel flows, took out the new drain plug, reinstalled the original, flue flows and motor starts.
Has anyone had this issue?
Do i have the wrong part?
Are they different by 6.0 year?
Thanks in advanced to all.
Not shure what u have. The ones I know of are just a plug has to be taken all the way out.
What you describe is some kind of valve device. No experience with that.
