New Lightning Owner
New Lightning Owner
Hey everyone !!
I am the forum leader for Georgia Chapter. New to lightnings but not ford trucks. In the Army and currently deployed. My wife just picked me up a True Blue 02 Lightning yesterday not far from the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
This is only after weeks of me driving her crazy and sending her pictures of all the lightnings for sale in a 500 mile radius of our house. I think she really only did it to shut me up...
It shows that persistence pays off in the end, well most of the time anyway. Still have a little while till I am home and get to drive it myself but I sure can't wait.

At this point I really do not know as I have not physically seen the truck. I found it, called the dealer from here in Afghanistan and worked out a deal, then the wife picked it up for me. R&R is in a few months so I will know more about it then. What you see in the pics is what I have seen. We did a face time walk around yesterday as she was there buying it and I heard it running but the dealer and I both don't know what upgrades have been done. Once I get home I will look it over good and see what I can find out. From a few pictures the wife just sent me, the truck seems to be lowered and of course the cold air intake upgrade. It was raining yesterday when she picked it up. This morning it was dry and she got on it a little on the way to town and she says it will really go and it rides super nice.
