Bench seat
I'm running into finding a 65 bench seat, so I know they kept the same design for some time. Can anyone tell me how long they used the same style bench seat and yes if it matters it does have the fuel tank in the cab.

Will need to use the seat track from the 65 and install them on replacement seats, believe seat track are same from 65 thru 72. Seem to recall from 68 on thru 80's and possibly 90's the seats are same width therefore bench and backs can be mixed and matched. The later model seats are also wider so in event want to tilt seat forward one of the arm rest should be removed. I went with 40/20/40 Lariat seats for my 65, I removed the fabric from the backs and found the 'head rest' was nothing more than thin sheet metal so took a cutting disc and removed them, primarily because I wanted the seat back to set just below the rear window, I also installed retractable seat belts. The topic has come up where member's have posted pic's of their seat configurations, hopefully get additional ideas. Seem to recall thread where member posted pic's with shoulder harness incorporated in the seat?? Anyhow, food for thought??

Pretty sure the seats will work up through the '96 model year.
The seat in the '66 in my avatar is from a '94 F-150, and my truck still has the in cab fuel tank. The '66 tracks bolted to the '94 seat and when set in the truck, used the original mounting holes in the cab floor.
