Needing some pics of intercooler pipes. Got mine in an the pipes I got off that guy on ebay don't seem to look right. Mite just be the way I'm looking at them but wanted to see others before I go to moving ac lines an air cleaner tube. Its a 99 intercooler don't know if it makes any difference
Not sure if I have some good pics on my phone but I routed my IC pipes just recently and everything seemed to fall into place pretty well. I don't have a stock air filter tube though and am not using a stock turbo or spider.
I used 6.0 pipes and cooler if that matters. I had to add ~10" of straight pipe between the IC and pipes on both sides to get the first upward bend past the ps pump on the left side and for the pipes to outlet in the right spots on top of the engine. I used all boots and clamps to connect things but may weld up some joints down the road. They did clear they AC plumbing pretty well though.
I've never seem 99 pipes but theoretically they were designed for our engine right? Though not our engine compartment, I guess.
This is my old truck (mule) that I put 99 pipes on. Its doubled booted before the spider with small piece of 3" exhaust pipe in the middle of the double boot. Doesn't look very good but its been working for seven years.
