It's weird because me and my middle brother are skinny, but my youngest brother to ten and he's huge! You know the Jimmy Dean song big John? That's gonna be him.

You're right Orich, I am a smoker. Good call. I had a 29" waist up until I was 39 years old. Now 31". Before shopping on the internet it wasn't easy finding 31" waist Levis.

Almost nobody has 30x34. Wrangler makes them, and Sheplers, boot barn, and tractor supply are the only ones I've found to carry them.

ALL the big/tall/portly men's stores carry Levi's. Casual Male stores (where I shop) can be found throughout the US

Being a smoker (which I am) doesn't mean that ones weight remains the same over the years. I wish that was true, but it ain't!

I'm currently 6-5, 245 .. but 2 years ago, my weight had ballooned up to 325, waist size had increased to 48." When I was working (1962/97), weighed between 200/225.

btw: "Shorty" said his waist size has increased from 29" to 31" .. also said at one time he had trouble finding Levi's. Should have opened his peepers and let his fingers waltz thru the yellow pages.

In theses days of high tech most people sit way to long with not much walking adds those wonderful inches like now days in tires sizes.

In 1988 I quit smoking my weight was like 184 then my weight slowly went up about 15 yrs to 217lbs all while drinking.

My VA Doctor said, I had a fatty liver after they did a CT scan "Yikes"
My wake up call to real live if, I wanted to see more yrs and enjoy any grandkids.

I stopped drinking all 2-3 beers a day and more on the week ends about 12 yrs ago as my weight was down to 193Lbs in the summer time that is.

Now then thanks to the Vietnam war BS and Agent "O" I have one of the many side affects of type ll diabetes and also having the need to take insulin shots & pills that has started me to put on some extra baggage of like 8 lbs.

I have not walked much in the last 3yrs due to waiting on a 2nd heel surgery hopefully next month lose a few more lbs

Okay that my story at 202lbs to this day!!

Ha me too. My future has been used up it's time. So, I stopped saving for it.

I' am just happy to open my eyes each morning feed & dress myself.

I'm in good enough health that I can still tinker drive the manual steering with 33''not that tall or hard as long as ya learn to always have your vehicle rolling while tuning make life a little easier with manual steering.

Heck at my cute age of 71 turning my manual steering is like going to the GYM for me..
Although my arms our starting to kind of look like Popeye's
