I'm surprised no one has come up with a group V/B or X/C spring buy.
I've been asked about it and a few other things as well but I'm wanting to take 2-3 weeks off before I try to start on something else again. As far as the springs I would need to have at least 2 people I could talk to that know what they are talking about to really school me on it before I start doing research and making calls though.
how much are the springs gonna be? i think crazy pricing is what killed the billet badges.
I have no clue, I have never ever priced them as I have no need for them. One of the things that killed the last buy was people (you) posting questions in the thread that was specifically for ordering and not for questions. There were some problems before that but you were a nice little straw on the camels back I asked you several times not to post in that thread and you continued to as if this very thread that you now have no problem posting in never existed. 99% of the problem was Billet Badges, they have yet to get me a quote to this day. They emailed me yesterday and said they never got the image and I needed to send it in again before they could do anything so the lack of professionalism on their part is the main issue and you were in no way the reason it didn't go through but still man, damn.
I have no problem letting this go henceforth and no hard feelings or animosity towards you whatsoever. That GB was plagued with issues from the start and that teeny tiny little thing is just the final thing that pushed me (thankfully) over the edge. The two people that were helping me with the GB left the decision to press forward or let it go up to me and they both strongly agreed that I let it go but I tried to push it through IIRC a week or 2 after that. They were supportive and helped in any way they could, but you can only do so much I guess what I'm trying to say here Skip is "thanks" for helping me let it finally go Whenever you get out of that horrible mistake of a state (kidding) we call Alaska I'll buy you a round or two
I would like to add that My last post took a lot of twist and turns as I was typing it and I don't want to go back and edit it. It is how I felt and I disagree with people saying things and then taking them back but I really am grateful Skip. When I first started that post I was honestly still aggravated about you posting in the buy thread, but as I talked it out I realized how little it had to do with it all and in the end that it was more of a nice bow on the package I'm honestly sorry for the things I said but I said them, there they are, and if you have a problem with it I understand. If we do end up doing a GB on the springs I'll still make sure to get you the best deal I can!
its ok man, sounds like they werent worth doing any buisness with anyhow.
i was just trying to figure out how much they cost, as the price list had several twists and turns, i didnt want to get in over my head. some of us have to live within our financial means. i didnt want to say ill take 3 polished and end up with you mad at me thinking it was costing one thing then you asking for a much higher $$.
...before I start doing research and making calls though.
I think you would be spinning your wheels, personally.
If we're talking OEM springs, I doubt any dealership would be able to beat the price Tousely Ford advertises, and even if they could, would the savings be more than it would cost to buy + shipping, versus paying full pop at their local dealership?
