I have a 2005 Excursion 4x4 V10 that is 3/4" lower on the right rear than the left rear. I'm wondering since the RAS is adjustable, could I tweak one side to level it out side to side?
Anyone have experience with this?
I like the idea of the RAS and would rather not have to swap out springs.
That's too much of a difference for the RAS, if you needed it I would cheat by maybe an 1/8 of an inch or a touch more but that's about it in my opinion. This is my second Ex and I have installed RAS on both. Also, are you sure the lean is all caused by the back springs? I found a 1/4 inch difference showing in the rear on my previos EX, only to have cured it by replacing the front springs... Just a thought
Call Junior at ATS, they are a site sponsor. Dude will take the time to answer your questions and has the cure for your lean, if you want to buy from them.
Spring codes are C and G.
I'd love to change out the front and rears. I wonder what the next step up spring wise would be (OEM)?
That would be the ever popular (at least in the EX community) V/B spring swap. Much, much info in the tech folders about that, your eyes will get sore from all the reading about them there!
