New trailer necessities?

So we are finally going to see the trailer Saturday! The official delivery/ demo will be sometime the end of March. Going to try to go through as much as I can this weekend, but they are forecasting a high of 24 Saturday. Is it even wise to try to open the slide at these temps? We've had a bunch of freeze/ thaw and a few inches of snow on the ground, wondering if I should just go back up on a warmer day to fool with it?

I'm more worried about frozen seals. We've got ice and snow on everything around here now. We will see tomorrow. I'm well beyond excited to finally see and get my hands on it! I will snap a few pictures regardless!

Pretty much already said it'll be outside...........Heard lots of good about this place, but our salesman either left or got canned since we ordered and now we have another salesperson who tried to get me to take it home rather than do the spring delivery since they "are nearly out of room on the lot".
I told her the only reason I ordered when I did was because of the warranty deferral until we picked it up in March. She told me two months of warranty wasn't a big deal to give up. I almost flipped. We will see how tomorrow goes.
Not so sure anymore. High volume dealer with lots of stock.....................but other than price I'm still waiting to be impressed.

Finally!!!! It turned out great and was everything we expected, if not more. They changed the door from the living are to the garage from a boring white door to a wood finish door with three textured glass panes, and the dinette got a freestanding table, rather than the two poles mounted to the floor. Both were pleasant surprises. There are a few little things I found that need addressed, but seemed pretty good overall. Set the date to pick it up for March 28. Only one pic really turned out, but I'll post them both. The truck was clean when we left the house

Also hit Cabela's in search of a new grill to take along. We had been using an old typical backyard grill, but it needed retired. So we wanted something that would be easier to transport, and maybe function better. We were interested in the coleman road trip grill, but it turned out smaller than we wanted, and runs on 1lb cylinders. So we stumbled onto this thing made by Camp Chef..............
The base unit is 3 cast burners, then it has the grill box that site on top. They also have lots of different accessories that can go on top either next to or in place of the grill box. Should be fairly easy to secure for transport, but it's certainly not light.

My suggestion is to wait until you see what you need... EVERYWHERE you go there's a walmart close by and can get most of it...
I have $500 worth of stuff in the storage building that were might needs that I took out after 4 trips and got tired of lugging them around...
chairs, tools, sewer stuff, water stuff, and electrical is the only things you NEED, part of the fun is figuring out what YOU need, not what we need

Jadamsjr, I took your advise here mostly, think I've got all the necessary water, sewer, tool stuff, and grill sitting in the basement. I know I'm buying a Progressive Industries EMS unit, but that's about the only thing I haven't bought yet. I stopped by and tried to find the power center, but didn't get real far with the slide in. They have them packed like sardines. If I have room I'm going for the hardwire unit, if not I'll get the portable (EMS). I did spring for the kingpin stabilizer. Bringing it home in two weeks and will install some Maxxair vent covers then too. Can't wait! Got the 3rd weekend of April booked already, along with a few days in August.

I would get two 25' or 30' electrical extention cords rather than 1 50'. Most of the time you do not need 50' extention.
Also, I would get a 50amp to 30amp dog bone. This would be useful should you get to a campground that only had 50amp pedestals left. Or if the 30 amp on your pedestal was not working.
And for an extreme emergency, I'd get a 20 amp to 30 amp plug. This in case you found yourself at a place where only 20 amp was available. You couldn't run the AC but you could run almost everything else.
I would carry two potable water hoses, plus a non potable water hose.
