We bought this over the weekend, a Springdale 189... Keystone (well, all the manufacturers) has some weird numbering system for their models and lengths, so I don't know exactly how long it is, but from hitch to bumper is 23' 7".
Sleeps 7, power tongue jack, power awning, AC, shower, TOILET! full sized fridge and freezer, and a bunch of other stuff that puts it pretty much on par with the motorhome my family had when I was a kid, but in a trailer.
We sold our '12 Rockwood Freedom tent trailer last week, knowing full well that we'd need another trailer in short order.
Good lookin' rig. I think it is great when people plan to get outside to the Great outdoors. Congrats and don't let it set unused to many days at a time.
NICE. I think that is a nice size. We have a 2000 Mallard 26' no slide & I like it better than our 32' Tahoe with a 12' slide when it comes to pulling. The Tahoe is great for what we do now & that is it sets in an RV park 24-7, 365 days a year. I hope the next move with it is to a new owner.
The Mallard when behind our Dodge is like there is nothing there. The dodge pulls the Tahoe OK it is just a hassle to set it up. But I'm getting old & tired, I have towed that Tahoe over 8000 miles since we bought it new in 05. But given the choice the Mallard is it for towing setting up & short stays. To be honest the Mallard has a much better Refer & hot water heater than the Tahoe.
We have had a couple of TT's about that size - and have to say a good length. That's a really nice looking unit and with that bunk bed above the double is an interesting arrangement. As far as actual trailer - that drawbar is nominally ~ 3 feet, so you are in the 20 foot interior (where it counts!) range
