Something to consider before tossing that spare trans is would be to upgrade the VB to a JW, BTW, or TransGo setup. It'll help a bit.

While you're in there, a 6.0 cooler will do you quite well overall.

Now that you're running a tuner, I'd recommend some gauges to keep an eye on your temperatures.

Did you load the "Street" or "Performance" tune?

The guys at SCT recommended that i load the performance tune for DD and economy.

I do agree on the gauges. I'm not pushing it at all at this point so there should be no danger of EGT's getting up on me. BTW, i'm running it on WVO.
