ummm... forty.... dude, i would wonder if the truck has seen you and decided to take a clue.... your body has been saging for years (according to harotd)
I have noticed that the body was leanning before but I wasn't that cocerned about it. Well I took it in to the body shop today and had the frame measured out and they found no problems which they say that my tire pressure is causing the truck to lean which I think thats a joke so I have to go there tommorrow and pick it up and go from there.
Do all the body lines on your truck line up?
Is this bodyshop part of the dealership you purchased from?
If so they are trying to take you for a ride!
You need to get your truck to an independent shop with a laser frame machine .
you may need to pay for an hr of time for a tech to do the measurement of your truck !
then proceed with the saga ,get eng reps from ford and so on .
but if you knew how these trucks were shipped around the country ,you wouldn't buy them.
well got it back today, the bumper wasnt level, the body is level. and their idea of a "bent frame" is a whole 2mm. we got the print out from the frame rack and its off by a whole 2mm at the rear.
I've had the "leaning" problem on my truck since it was new.
FINALLY took it in for correction to the dealer where I bought it and they didn't fix crap and the banging on the left front rear is still there.
The only off-roading this thing has done is in the shop...off the road.
