Hi all
Just bought my first Powerstroke, a 2000 F350 w/duals.
Also discovered that there isn't a spec sticker on the door jamb.
Isn't there supposed to be? What do I do now? Is the info available elsewhere or a replacement sticker? Does it really matter? Will I need the sticker for anything other than specs?
Highway patrol or anything?
Years ago, we used to find our build sheets under the carpets of our Mustangs. Anyone know if this is still true?
if that sticker is missing, youve got pretty good chances that the truck had been wrecked and the door replaced.... so be careful. As far as i know its just specs, and most of the info found on the sticker can be founf elsewhere.. such as the axle code on the sticker.. you can just look at the tag on the dif. Payload you can look up in owners manual.. etc etc
Once its gone its gone. Mine went the way of the rag with thinner on it. It had overspray on it and I thought i'd wipe gently, well bye bye sticker. Dealer and ford no help..
