Lightbulb 12V conversion 51

going to post this as I have seen many post this will be one of a few drawings I just want to help people understand so my next doodles will be creative and easy to follow. I plan on adding the wire gauges options and fuse sizes for all aspects but please review this schematic and let me know if you agree this is working just want critics and changes if needed thanks guys...

Even for 12 volt 8 GA wire is too small from the battery to the starter, Should be at least 4 GA. 16 GA is too small from the alternator, should be 10 GA up to about 60 amps ad 8 GA if larger. Fuse needs to match the amperage of the alternator, 10 amp way too small. You have the wire from the distributor to coil also hooked to ground, this will cause a no spark condition. Ther may be more but those were the most obvious.

If your starter selinode has an ignition terminal you should run a wire from it to the coil positive side, this will give you a hotter spark for starting (full 12volt). The wire from the battery to the ignition switch should be 12-14 ga. depending on what accessories you going to have, air, cruise, windows, locks, etc.
