Need wire help

I posted earlier about wiring the starter button,...Info first...I'm using rebel wiring, its like EZ...I also, have a ign switch that has only three posts...one says "coil, second says, bat, then AC...I however need more clarification...Do I run the ign wire from the 1-wire alternator to the button first then run a wire to the coil side of the ign switch?...I'm confused when to run the alternator wire too...thanks...

Ignition and charging systems are separate - generally.

Wire from ignition switch (coil) to the coil. May run thru a resistor if using points and coil without internal resistance.

Wire from ignition switch (AC) to the gauge panel

Wire from ignition switch (BAT) to power that usually comes from the fuse block.

One wire alt should only go to the battery side of the solenoid (relay) afaik
