Starter Runs Too Long
I have a 2000 F250 SD, 5.4, 4x4.
When I start the engine after it's cold and seemingly only when it's cold outside the starter (I think) sounds like it sticks and stays engaged for 5-30 seconds after the motor starts. It sounds horrendous! I just replaced it about 6 weeks ago with a remanned unit from O'Reilly (Limited Lifetime Warranty)

Any help on what it is or how to prevent it would be greatly appreciated!
