Which truck where.

This diesel truck does not see Idaho. V10 is in Nampa ID. Nampa uses sand not salt on the roads.

Still no word from the dealer.

Final Update

Dealer is replacing parts. Dealer found a coolant from the turbo, coolant was leaking on to this part. I am currently waiting on parts.

Thank you.

Hey donovan,

Did your dealership give you an ETA on parts? How many miles are on your truck? Let me know and I'll see what I can do to help, if needed.

Crystal

Glad the dealer found the source and is getting parts to get it fixed up!

I guess the coolant leak at the turbo is somewhat common??? if that's what he is saying the leak was... dealer told me they just had to remove the intake and fix it on mine and it only had 27000 miles on it.... yes? no?

Coolant leak has been repaired. I was not updated what was required to fix that issues. It is still waiting for the part that showed corrosions. I hope the problem does not repeat.

Coolant leak at the turbo, I have heard of it happening I would not say common issues. Sounded like it was a quick fix. On occasion during regen at a stop I have smelled something I guess it was coolant.

Crystal The dealer did not give me a eta on parts. I don't think this a common part to go bad. They have had the truck since Monday so I hope to get it back soon.

That truck has about 30 thousand on it.
