Need quick help - brake controller
Hello all,
I have a 2003 Ex (new to me), diesel 6.0 (EGR delete
) and I tow with it. I have an Activator II that I had in my '99 Expedition and the controller still has the pigtail adaptor on it.I am hoping that the connector is the same from the 99 Expedition to the '03 Excursion, is it?
Also, I looked where I believe the Excursion wiring harness should be (up and to the right of the gas pedal, visible through a hole in a dash mount) and all I can see is a smallish gray block with a couple of round electrical male connectors in it. This looks nothing like the connector on my controller. The connector in the Ex is circled in red in the picture.
Am I looking at the wrong thing, and if so, can someone send me a pic of where the correct connector is (or better describe it)?
I'm in a crunch here as I'm about to go on a lengthy towing trip and would really like to get the controller attached.
