Thumbs up Indiana Chapter Logo!! Please Vote!

As the Indiana chapter grows and begins to thrive again, I want to encourage chapter participation and enthusiasm. Our chapter should be a place of camaraderie, help, fellowship, and fun. One way to promote pride in our chapter is by having a chapter logo. We can use this logo within our thread, on our personal signatures (where it can be seen anywhere we post throughout the FTE site), and even have it printed on decals for our cars, or potentially other items such as shirts and banners for meet and greets, etc. The potential uses are many.

So, with all of this in mind, I have had two logos created by a graphic designer. I personally like them both, but this chapter is a team, and I want each of you to cast a vote for which logo you'd like to adopt as our official FTE Indiana Chapter logo. As you consider each of them, keep in mind there use on this site, as well as potential future use on decals, etc.

Here are the two choices:
1.)

2.)

So, please do two things: 1. Vote for logo one or two in the poll above. Comments are also welcome below. 2. Indicate your interest in ordering a decal for your vehicle(s).

We have a member who has volunteered to have the logos printed as decals, but it is not a free process. So we will need to collect a small donation to help cover the cost of printing. I will create a separate thread about that later on after our official logo has been adopted.

Thank you all for your participation in this decision and for helping to make the Indiana chapter a great place to hang out! This poll will be active for two weeks.

Wow!! They both look great Stephen. I like the second one better though. I think it looks more rugged.

Well, we didn't get a ton of responses on the poll for the new chapter logo, but the ones we did get were overwhelmingly in favor of the second logo. So that will be the winner.

More info to come on using our new logo for decals and more...

I'll update the thread or start a new one when we figure out about getting the logos printed into decals. Making a shop banner is a cool idea too! That's worth looking into.

The company I used to work for owned a printing shop in PA... I can probably pass along some contact info...may be able to get a deal worked out...or atleast let you quote it from more than one source... Let me know if I can help.

I also vote for #2

That's great news Pat!

We will begin the next step of finding out what it would cost to have decals made up. I'll probably start a new thread about decals once we get an idea of what they'll cost and to find out who is interested in having one (or more!) for your trucks.

One thing you might want to do, is when you get decals, see about getting two different sizes. With you guy's logo, geting one about 4-5 inches across, and also seeing what it would cost to get mini ones. I've seen a few chapters do that, they are kind of nice to have.

That's a good idea Pat! We'll have to look into that.

The second logo would be my vote IF you made it a blue OVAL instead of the circle. Come on man, how did you miss that one!?!
