I have an 88 f350 7.3 and have been fighting a squishy/low pedal for awhile now. New M/C 3times, bypassed abs, new hoses, one new cylinder in back. So here it is. I can crack the bleeders is back( the new one in paticular) and when fluid comes out i have a good pedal. Give it a few days and i lose my pedal again. Repeat bleeding just crack till see i see fluid and pedal back again. Sometimes the new wheel cyl requires i open m/c cap. Replaced wheel cyl and still the same. I have bled by gravity and normal pump and hold. I can clamp the rear lineand pedal is instantly firm. Any ideas guys? No there is not a leak anywhere.

I have the same thing on my '92 460. New MC, bled an entire container of brake fluid, new rear shoes and pads, adjusted brakes and still a soft pedal. Its hard in the morning sometimes () not what you think lol but it gets softer as I drive. Also will get hard with pumping, again not what you think..
I have heard of the zero loss booster as well as replacing or bypassing the RABS unit, but I don't want to bypass it or replace it if its not going to fix it. Hear some people take it (RABS) off and clean it and bleed system again, starting with RABS then normal procedure.
Brakes adjusted where they are hard to turn wheel by hand. That dont explain the constantly having to just crack open the bleeders. Where is the coming from? You would think it would leak brake fluid if the wheel cyl was some how letting air in.

Are you clamping before it splits or right before the side that gets air?
