There is a guy here in N.C. that buys and dismantles Ford trucks. If you're ever going to be down this way you could get up with him.

Here is just one of his many Craigslist ads...

$700 sounds pretty ridiculous to me but I am pretty cheap as well. I have been trying to find a decent 40-20-40 seat in gray for my truck but haven't had any luck in my area. But I don't really want to pay more than a $100 or so preferrably

Around here good 40-20-40s are in the 300-400 range

the only reason i payed $100 was because it was a NOS seat.the shade of red wasn't even correct but it's close enough for a work truck.for 700 + 145 shipping id have a detriot trutrac installed instead.i understand the 40/20/40's costs more than the bench seats......but holy crap.yeah he's crazy.send him an offer of $250 (way more than id pay,but if they're what your after and you can afford them) plus shipping and see if he counters with something reasonable.if not just keep looking.
i only payed $40 for a used bench for log truck.

that's one of my main points.it's not as if you need to be rushed into buying and can't wait for a decent deal for the type of seats you prefer.i'll never understand the desire for those 40/20/40 myself but it's personal preference.$845 though Brad? that's pretty steep brother.they're not even NOS.....shoot,you say they're not even mint.
edit ok i found them.they don't look like $845 worth to me.if they do to you and you wont miss the $ go for it.i don't see the value.they're in "decent" shape in appearance at least.could be rock hard and broken down.then what? then your in too much to not have them refurbished for more than you payed for them.careful.
it's not going to be long until that worn sport in the drivers lower back becomes a hole.his start bid is far too high imho.

Anything over 400 is more then I would ever pay for any seat....that's just me.

But on the other hand, 800-1000 for a mint seat sounds better than 700 for a worn out seat with cigarette burns.

Mint to that idiot is rougher than a $100 seat to me.

I would pay 1000 for a mint seat though

I removed myself from that FB page. Lots of misinformation, and most people wanted to argue about being correct. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Awesome price on the L seats! My junkyard buddy prices all seats the same, $100. I already asked him to call me if he gets a Lightning, I can ask him to give me a call for a blue seat if you want.

Yeah, GOD himself(shane) is mod on that page
And like MOST FB pages it is just a bunch of kids that have no clue what they are talking about.

That would be great, I don't mind taking a ride for something NICE
