Good morning Oregon, another wet soggy day in store down here.

I'm the only son in law also. However, I think I am viewed as the a**hole who stole her daughter away so her daughter isn't at her back and call to care for her. She has thrown some down right temper tantrums when the Warden refuses to leave me so that she can care for her full time - or take her back to Idaho to buy up the MIL's fathers old ranch and begin ranching again. (That old ranch is now a housing development).
I'm not sure what is going on with the engine. It is electrical and appears to be a dead short. At first I was getting a dim light on the one tester and a weak tone on the meter when I went from hot to ground. I am kind of leaning toward the possibility of a bad ignition switch. It just kept getting worse and worse as I played with it. Coming home, I had to "hot wire" the back of the ignition switch for the "accessories" side, just so I could get power to the tilt motor and drop the motor into the travel bar lock.
Jim, that just sucks. It's amazing how some people are so miserable, that all they do is make everyone around them just as miserable. Not much of an existence, if you ask me, but, whatever. Good luck with the boat, electrical problems are such a PITA.
Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 50.1° with a light scattered overcast.
Work on getting some more stuff unpacked and re-organized. To that point we have to meet with the fellow that owns the stroage yard where we keep the camper. Going to rent a small storage room for some of the MIL's stuff and probably a little of ours so that I can have a little corner of my garage back.

So very true Pat. Doc's have said the Advanced Dementia is causing her to revert to the attitudes and dispositions she had when she was younger. She was a rather mean tempered young lady. In addition, she has now been diagnosed with Parkinson's and the meds they have her on doesn't seem to help the disposition or the dementia at all. Since she "dumped" my wife for an ex in-law that moved her to a different care home, She refuses to socialize at all anymore, refuses to participate in any of the ACLC activities and just sits in her room watching TV.
A terrible way to live, especially when the opportunities to participate in activities are available but are refused. BTW, I am her favorite SIL and can do no wrong......when she wants something.

Naw, she wasn't born pissed off...she was hatched as a fire breathing dragon and a wizard cast a spell on her turning her into human form.....
My father in law and I were pretty tight. Went hunting, fishing and did other things. His boat was named by my mother in law, "The Green S*& of a B^%$h!" We always thought this was strange as she was raised in the wilds of Idaho, the daughter of a miner and rancher and she spent a lot of time hunting, fishing and trapping. Trapping was something she continued doing to make money right up until they moved to Oregon.
Good afternoon / evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just a quick fly by. Have to go back out to the farm. Mother just called and can't figure out how to turn the TV on. Can't seem to get her talked thru it on the phone this time. It is so terribly wonderful to be home from the mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you survived, Chris.
It missed a good chance to rain today........all cloudy this morning and even felt a little moisture in the air....but by noon the sun was shining. Good for everyone franticly putting up their hay tho...,,,Irrigation water gets shut off on Oct. 5 10 days earlier than usual.
Have a happy Friday everyone.
Good morning Oregon, happy Friday! I think the rain has finally stopped here, we had a river running through the front yard last night! Jim, hope you were able to handle the tv crisis!!!
