Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Some very scattered overcast here. 64.4° and only supposed to be up to around 71.
Dad is out of action for at least 6 weeks, if not (& IMHO probably) a lot longer.
Seems like I've already got a full day of "retirement" in out at the farm today. Lots of mowing / field chopping done. Still have some more to do, but had stuff to get done here also. Going back out this afternoon to do some more mowing and I have to get some dirt into a couple of old horse grave sites that have settled in the small west pasture that I want to put the horses out on sometime this week. Kind of perplexing. Never any of the large animal graves settle like that before.
Howdy all............made it back in fine shape...only a couple of minor glitches......it was a great show, and the weather was good...not too hot, and the minor showers just kept the dust down.
Always good to be home tho...
Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Home from the ranch. Folks fed, settled in for the night, I hope, pills doled out and my sister will be out there a little later for the "2nd" shift. Today, Tuesday and Wednesday were supposed to be my "days off". Wonder what happened to that plan!
Orchard and barn yard yet to mow, but they are going to wait for a couple of days....I think.
