Still have a tree to finish cutting up, but it doesn't really look like a good day for that kind of thing. Tree trunk split in about 5 different sections and came down in 5 different directions. One section came down on a spring tooth and another came down against the north side of the tractor shed. Got some cut up yesterday. Still have a lot to do.
Brake in rain for the moment, but still dank and overcast. Wx guessers say 50% chance of rain. Probably should go take the camper off of the pickup so I can use it and the winch on that tree.
I think wind probably had something to do with it, but the way the trunk split and then came down like petals on a flower opening up makes me think something else was going on as well. Couldn't see any rot in the trunk, but haven't really looked that close. Hasn't been any lightning and no burn on the tree so I know it wasn't that.
Because THEY don't talk back?...............................lol
They DO talk back.....quite loudly around the biscuit jar and about dinner time.

Not as bad as you think.......Wife bought a "well puppy pkg" back when we got the girl Lab pup, so the vet took half-off the shots for the other 2 if we brought em' all in assembly line fashion in one bunch.
My big, tough 105lb male Lab cried when he got his shot........The only thing he has ever attacked is the kibble bag.
