Help! I have a 2001 f150 4x4 sport. I had oil and transmission fluid leaks as well as a bad transmission mount so I decided to bite the bullet and fix them. The oil was from the rear main seal (5.4L) so out with the rear diff. And the trans.while the trans was out I went ahead and serviced it (changed fluid and filter). I got it all back together and filled it up making sure it was full. Took it for a test drive and it has no power now. It seems to shift OK from first to second and then second to third but its definatly feels like its holding back and will surge/lunge speratically. If I give it some gas to downshift and take off, it really holds back. Going down the interstate it didn't want to shift out of second and didn't want to go up hills.any ideas here?
