Red Fluid
My wife moved our 2002 F250 last night and said it made a weird sound and was hard to turn. I started it this morning and steering won't turn. There is also red fluid in the snow where the drivers side front wheel is. There is fluid on the axle close the hub and on the hub. The pattern in the snow was not of a drip leak put more of a spray. Any help on this would be great

Power steering pump/resevior.
Maybe a hose that failed for the steering.
something of that nature. Gonna need to fix it there or have it towed.
I would not drive it except to move it a few feet.
If this is a diesel do you have hydroboost brakes? If so then your braking is also compromised.

How cold is it where you are? I've had old power steering fluid turn into a kind of pinkish vaseline when it got to about -15F. Made a huge mess when it lifted the resevoir cap and puked pink goo all over.
