302 question
First off let me say please forgive me for my lack of knowledge on rebuilding engines and what all is involved. With that said I have a question about rebuilding a 302 for a 1994 f-150 I recently came across. So far its running strong at 300K but I want to start rebuilding a motor now so when this motor does finally take a crap I will have something to swap with it. My question is if i have a 302 from an 88 F-150 can I tear that block down and rebuild it and swap it into my 94 with no problems? I want to put a new cam in it but is the crank the same etc? Thanks for your help.
