Having trouble locating stock steel rims for my 60 F100, 5 bolt 5.25" pattern. Bought 4 - 15" recap snow tires to run this winter.
Any body have a lead?

It's 5 lug x 5.50", not 5.25". Same pattern used on F-100s/150s for decades. Should be easy to find in yards. Stu

Correct. On six or eight you would do that, but on five it's as pictured here. If hub cap mounting is to be preserved, as the guys above said you are in internet search mode. The wheels Ryan found are a heck of a deal. Stu

PM me if you are interested in 15 x 6" "outie" style steel wheels-Hollander 1570. Same wheels that are on my truck-can have shipped to you for a good price.

5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle: 1940/48 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars / 1948/52 F1 / 1953/79 F100 / 1966/96 Bronco / 1969/74 E200 / 1975/96 F150 / 1975/2014 E100/150 / Some 1980/83 F100's.

If you want to use the original 'innie' hubcaps, you'll need innie wheels that were available thru 1966.

Outie wheels/hubcaps introduced in 1965, but were not commonplace until 1967.

I think I sent 5-6 of those to the crusher this year. I didn't think they were worth the price of paying to get the tires removed and shipping. I have a pile of 40s 16" and wide 5s I'm looking at sideways thinking the same thing.

Are the old tires themselves worth a buck or two? I think the spare on the ole effie is original "mint" bias ply. Probably should have a working spare so that's going bye.

hoping to be corrected-but I was told not to drive on tires older than 6 years old...although I have an old time hotrodder friend who doesn't seem to mind how old the tires are...sorry if hijacking....

You're right, of course. That doesn't mean they aren't worth something to somebody, for display or golly knows what. That's why I asked, I'm gonna pitch it, but if somebody "needs" one.. See where I'm goin' with that?

Hopefully nobody would consider a 50 year old tire a good candidate, though I guess anything is possible.

I have also read comments from members about finding original unused tires for these trucks-and those must be important as well...just don't know if I would feel safe...

I've never driven on tires less than six years old. Taking some ancient 7.50 x 17 recaps with me to the mainland to get them mounted on the correct 65 year old wheels.......
