Wipers will not turn off
I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT (Ford F150)- I recently had my wipers turn on automatically, and they will not turn off. I removed the key from the ingition and they still continued to run. I removed both fuses listed in the owners manual listed for the wipers, and they still keep running. I was getting ready to purchase a new Wiper/Washer switch, but was told it probably would not resolve the issue. I don't want to waste $110 on something i won't be able to return. Any ideas what could be causing this issue?

There is probably a short in the wiring between the switch and motor somewhere. I would unplug the motor and back probe all wires except the hot wire every inch or two starting at the plug and see where you lose power. Ground the voltmeter on a good ground on the body. That's where I would start.
