This guy has been relisting these for quite a while. I decided I might make and offer since he has now used that option. Then I really get to looking closer and realize they are 48-52 doors.

7C-8226600-A .. Ford panel back door handle same: 1948/56.
These rear doors look like they're from an Advanced Design (1947/54, first series 1955) Chevrolet/GMC, based on the design of the rear door handle, 'teardrop' shaped lock cylinder and shape of the windows.
Most ebay sellers haven't a single clue what parts fit.
Thanks, at least I know what they look like. I've got a few more months of winter before I could do much anyway. I've even thought about doing some "woody" back doors.
Your's is the third tonner panel I've come across with the back doors missing. I'm thinking they also fit the 1/2 ton. I like the woody door idea, but I'd probably use all plywood and laminate a few layers thick and paint them with rustoleum rusty metal primer. Every time I make wooden parts for vehicles, I use that primer and nobody is the wiser......

I was thinking something like one of those hippy boat people over in Pt. Townsend would build. It would also give opportunity to make windows big enough to see out of. I've got some 8/4 red elm I've had sticker for 7 years. It's hard as heck and might make great frame work. Then some teak plywood in between. We have a local supplier much like Edensaw, called Woodstock. I'm sure I could find some great stuff there.
Don't be goin' all hippy on me there WB. Lord knows we have our share already! Admittedly, I have had a 20 year dream of building a woody on the frame of my trusty (and rusty) old landcruiser wagon.
