We are still in Arizona thinking about heading back to Nor cal Saturday, I've have never been to the Red wood National forest, neither has my Daughter. You will like it, When I was stationed at NAS Lemoore we saw those and the Sequoia national forest, lots of very old growth timber there! Good luck and happy travels!!
