Ford trucks have headlights and chainsaws run in the dark, ya know? JK lol.
The boggy man uses a old Stihl Farm Boss MS290, careful he might out cut ya.
As far as me, I am still here and still contracting...but it is finally slowing down. And I will get be home for Christmas and New Years this year, then grab the go bag and hit the road again.
But hopefully, no more FTEing it in those places I am just plain tired of going to.
Vet to vet, lets pass the word about Vet Net and strengthen the line.
What's the easiest way to post the link to the forum in my signature? It would be the easiest way to pick up stray vets who haven't found this yet! I haven't done HTML in a long time, so I'm a bit rusty on that!
John, (I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC) as long as you have room in your signature do this:
1. While on this page, highlight the link in the address bar at the top of the page
2. "Edit" and "Copy" the address
3. "Edit Signature" in your "UserCP"
4. Place your cursor in the signature block where you want the link to appear
5. Type something like, "VetNet" (without the quotation marks) in signature.
6. Highlight what you just typed (VetNet in this example)
7. Click on the "Globe and chainlink" to add a hyperlink to the text
8. "Paste" the copied address in the field
9. Click "Ok" or whatever it is to save the link
That should do it. It should look something like this in your signature:
* If the hyperlink jacks up, highlight the same text in your sig edit, then when you click on the hyperlink globe - ERASE everything in the text line in the pop up window, then paste the copied link in it again.
Normally the hyperlink window already has http:// at the beginning of the line, if you watch for that, you can erase it before pasting the link to begin with.
Otherwise you get a link with "http://http://" (double) at the start of it, and browsers dunno what the hell that is...
Merry Christmas Vets! Know this: You are a "Special" group of people within a "Special" group of people!
Love my veteran brothers (& sisters!) and FTE! Gives me hope for America! Have a great Christmas and New Year guys, be careful out there!

You might be able to copy the "VetNet" example above and "Paste" it into your signature.
Thanks for the tip! I haven't used HTML since I had a "myspace" back in high school!

At the bottom of the page in the "Posting Rules" there's a set of links to BB code, IMG, and HTML. Click on the BB code link and it takes you to a forum specific primer on how to do all sorts of cool tricks that are a lot simpler than HTML
To TEST DRIVE the different BB code "toys" there is a test forum for figuring out how stuff works at this link:
