Other Ford steering wheels from the same era such as Mustang, Falcon, and Galaxie will bolt on, but I can't say if you'll have issues to overcome with the horn or turn signal switch.
Thanks, now I can search a variety of the cars you noted. The new ones are too expensive, just need a decent daily driver that has fewer cracks than mine.

As noted, steering wheel is available thru Ford part supplier's for around $200. Before putting out that much money, and since the steering wheel on the 65 was not too bad, few cracks, etc., decided to try and repair the steering wheel first for around $20, and please with results. The kit, or items needed, basically consist of; solvent to clean the wheel, mini rectangular file to create a wedge/valley for the putty to adhere to, epoxy putty, sand paper, and paint. Couple lessons learned: best to wipe off any residual putty, particularly on steering wheel surfaces with patterns such as the grooves in the spokes or indentations around the steering wheel because once the A-B epoxy putty hardens it can be time consuming sanding the surface to original shape. Also, only mix enough epoxy for each area being repaired, it hardens quickly; keep hands moist while working with the putty. Perhaps other members have tried the kit and can provide reviews? Eastwood carries the entire kit, or purchase the necessary items at local hardware store. After making the repairs and sanding, I used an aerosol can of the flexible type paint, flavor of my liking.
Just to add to Dave's comments. I've repair numerous wheel with Expoxy type putty and use Fusion plastic rattle can paint. Results have been very nice.
So say I want to bridge 2 generations. I know of a nice looking 59 F100 in a junkyard and don't mind losing use of my horn button in my 64 F100. Would it match the spline and be able to me mounted to my 64 steering column?
