coolantfilter

got my sinister diesel coolant filter today going to install tomorrow. first time i will be working on the truck myself any suggestions?

It's a pretty easy job. Drain the radiator so you don't make a mess cutting the heater hose. Other then that, not to tough.

gotcha i am going to watch some youtube videos and see how it goes im just a bit iffy because i just had 6k worth of parts and upgradeds done to the engine and from what i read the 6.0s coolant system is devious.

One of the basic upgrades that is a necessity on the 6.0.

i have a 2005 f250 i just got the heads milled and put the arp head studs in it has the egr delete stand pipe, dummy plugs new waterpump, blue spring mod and im about to put the coolant filter on...any other suggestions on what to do to help the life of the truck?

Get a good monitor to watch everything. Edge CS or CTS are my preference. Some like the Scangauge.

Make sure you are on OE filters only. Maintenance is the most important thing, and knowing what is going is second.
