All, having no start issue on 2003 f250 after basically rebuilding the entire top end...new injectors, ficm & plugs, new radiator, new oil cooler, egr delete, New turbo... was running fine until oil cooler went bad. After oil cooler replacement and egr delete, truck ran for a day but lost power and now will not start. Checked ipr screen and it looks good. I pulled icp plug and still no start...I went ahead and changed icp and plug also looked fine... still reading no icp pressure. I confirmed base oil pressure so I air tested at ipr port with the adapter recommended by diesel tech Ron and it held pressure, so I assume no leaks....my question to confirm bad hpop before I tear it apart...with the air tester in the ipr port I decided to crank engine using starter wire to see if air gauge would read any back pressure...my gauge only built up to about 160 psi...based on this test can I assume a bad hpop or is there a flaw in my thought process or test method. Just trying to confirm it is a bad hpop. Thanks for any help.

Reason: Clarify
Check the cps. Those are known to go bad and be intermittent. I would do that before blaming hpop. I am assuming it never started after all the parts were replaced??
Thanks for the reply. Yes the truck ran great before the oil cooler...while I was in there I deleted the EGR. After I put it back together it fired right up and ran for a day or so, then it started loosing power and finally died. Got it back to the house and was able to start it up a few times but idled rough and finally died and would not crank. I checked readings and was not getting ICP pressure...unplugged sensor to see what happened and still no start. That is when I started looking for leaks and found none. My real questions is would I get a pressure reading through the IPR port by cranking the engine with the remote started cable? If that test should give me pressure through an air gauge in the port then I think the pump went out...should have replaced it when I was in there. Just trying to confirm if my test should give me a result.
Too much of a coincidence here. When you replaced injectors did you make sure all connections to the fuel and oil rails were tight? I have seen the oil line break at the pump and leak causing a no start. You should get icp pressure when cranking if the ignition switch is in the run position. If you don't you either have a major leak in the high pressure oil system or the oil pump went belly up. My bet is a major leak since it was fine before you worked on it. Either way you have to dig into the oil system and you should find the leak if there is one. If no leak start leaning on the oil pump being bad.
