P1740 code

P1740 code
2000 5.4 4x4 extended cab 230,000 miles
In the last few thousand miles, my truck has occasionally threw a p1740 code and it seems to shift into OD too soon. Is this a symptom of the TCC solenoid and/or connecting harness? If so, where do you order your parts? OE only? Should I replace the shift solenoid a as well?

The PCM monitors the operating signals from each transmission solenoid for operating characteristics.
The code indicates the Torque converter clutch solenoid has an inductive fault.
The circuit is not open or shorted but some other issue.
Drain the fluid, drop the pan and replace the solenoid.
Install new filter upon reassembly.
You will have to do some research on where the solenoid physically is located so you get the right one.
Good luck.
