I think maintenance is key. Personally when I hit mileage like that, if i haven't already there would be some items I would replace including;
water pump, idler pulleys, hoses and HFCM pump. You don't have to but it would bring me piece of mind.

So you've got 200,000 on the truck and 6000 on the current engine?

Maintenance is indeed key, mine is currently at 167K and I'm looking forward to it having 400K+ like my 7.3 Excursion does.

All you have to do is take care of it and it will take care of you.

That's like saying, "I have the original axe George Washington used to cut down the cherry tree. But, over the years, I've had to replace the handle and the head"

This sounds like the Ship of Theseus paradox...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_TheseusIf you replace every part on a boat, do you still have the original boat? What happens if you reassemble all the parts you removed? Do you have two original boats?

Wouldn't that make this OP a candidate for the 99 and up F250 and F350 Super Duty forum? .....just sayin'

...and I'm thrilled you have an engine with only 6000 miles on the clock.......jealous but thrilled....Merry Christmas!

I've heard the "grandfathers axe" story since a young boy, never realized it was such a scholarly concept.

I just worked on a 03 with 410k and the original engine. It has been used for a lot of heavy towing, it run great and the truck still looks good.
