2001 E350 with Electrical Issues

2001 E350 with Electrical Issues
2001 E350 150,000 miles
The long story….
For about a year the day time running lights would brighten then dim until you applied a little throttle or turned on the headlights.
Several days ago the 7 year old battery failed. During the jump start the speedometer needle wildly went from right to left. After the new battery was installed the speedometer was trying to run backwards. The speedometer no longer moves. Starting yesterday the day running lights no longer come on and the door locks operate spontaneously.
Headlights, tail lights, radio, A/C, dome lights all work normally.
Any ideas? Is this a BCM issue? I searched the threads but did not find any that were a real good fit.
