Bob Drake has those springs or at least they did a few years ago. Mine needs them to.
What type of 289 do you have 5 or six bolt? How is it mounted, with a crossmember or Hurst type mounts off the heads? Do you know what type of transmission it has? C-4 C-6 or 5 bolt Cruisomatic AKA the Green Dot Dual Range C-4?
The reason I ask is if your truck has some of those parts you are well on your way to a early - mid 60s hot rod truck
Mine has the Hurst style mounts an adapter for the original 3 speed to a 6 bolt 302.

Welcome! It is good to see someone else with a fatfender from Michigan. Since you did such a great job of figuring out how to add pictures (good ones too) you might want to add your location information through the UserCP link (top left just above).
