I like the white gauges....they have a blue backlighting which make them really easy to read at night.
One day I would like to change the main instrument panel to white as well.....since it would look better if they matched IMO.
Weird thing is no one who has riden in my truck as ever asked why they don't match.......most just ask me what they are for....
I have a buddy who has some Autometer's (not sure what series......I could find out) that match the factory gauges very well. I haven't seen it at night to comment on the lighting.
Hope this helps.
DC, thanks for the input. Have you looked into what a white dash unit would cost? I would be curious to know. I would like to do the same thing.

Ken- what kind of guages and mounts do yall carry?
thanks
We carry ISSPRO (currently listed in the store) and VDO (not yet listed). Pillar mounts from PDQ (same style as Autometer except they come color matched and with a bottle of touchup in case you scratch it or any other interior plastic).

Unfortunately I have not yet looked into the cost..........it's one of those things that's way down at the bottom of my list of future mods.

The Autometer series that basically matches the OEM dash is the Z-series--particularly if you use the green color boots over the Autometer pod lights. The Z-series has a black bezel, black background, white lettering and a red indicator needle.
If you want to check into going all-white, including changing out your dash, check out http://www.nuimage1.com For the superduty, your best bet with them would probably be the platinum series, which is a white face with blue lighting at night (very similar to DC's pod example).
Finally, yes, several vendors can offer you pre-painted (and some even pre-assembled) A-pillar pods.
Edit: As you can see, the board turned the words "white face" above into a link. Apparently, Motorhaven also carries white gauge faces, these from APC. I did not know that. I do encourage supporting sponsors of the site, though, and so check them out too.
I just installed the NuImage “Diamond” white faced gauge cover. WOW it is very clean & attractive!!!! I am SO amazed that it went exactly as the instructions said. I would have bet money that I was going to break one of the gauge needles. I will post pictures when I get back from diving in Florida this weekend. Fantastic product!!
I am trying to see if I have both my tack and speedometer set correctly. I have just purchased the truck last week and haven't had time to compare some rpm to mph readings. I have a 3.73 rear and a 6 speed. Does anyone have some comparisons like 55 mph to 1500 rpm?
I just used the local Police radar checker. You know the king they post to tell you that you are speeding...heheheh works evertime. As far as RPM to MPH I don't really know but I did have it checked at the local shop and It just happened to be right.
