So reading thru the above tacked thread, RockAuto has a big selection of the above. Motorsport parts is go to recommendation but do any of these other choices justify the cost/time? Not looking to do this again any time soon so if the other choices aren't as a durable I'm not interested only if its a legit upgrade. Order what I need tomorrow so a quick response is greatly appreciated. Thanks
In my humble opinion, I would stick with the Motocrafts for plugs (sp-409) or the Autolites (xp-103). Both are quality plugs. When I changed mine, they had the autolites, and I went back with the SP-409's.
COP's I would stick with the Motocrafts also (DG-508). If funds are tight, I would go with the Standard Motor Products listed on Rock Autos site, or the link I provided at Amazon. Good luck.
I always stick with motorcraft after having issues with other plugs in my taurus. As far as coils, I got a great deal on motorcrafts at advance auto. Their online coupon codes are great.
Thanks guys - one of the mechanics I talked to today said he recommends Champion plugs....and I thought I read on here some problems with them so I frowned on it.
Thanks I wanted to check what I thought I read - I think I'll do straight Motorsport.
