I downloaded gasbuddy and found it for 3.19 about 5 miles from where I work. I thought I was getting a deal until I looked over and seen petrol was 1.99 a gallon....
Well I just saw a news article that here in good old Ca. a new fuel tax tied to cap and trade goes into effect on Jan. 1. Initially it will be 10 cents a gallon, 13 for diesel, but it is on a sliding scale, tied to what I have no idea, but according to the article it can go as high as 75 cents/gal. Just when you thought it was safe to come out of the water.

just heard this, this morning....$2.65 in brea (central/tamarask-chevron)
Yep, it was a mistake that didn't last longer then 8 hours, but good when I filled up the Ex and her 44 gallon tank! My 550 mile trip from Oklahoma to Louisiana cost me just $80!
I filled up yesterday in Sacramento for $2.99 a gallon. There was another Chevron near where I live that was selling it for $3.89. It's hard to believe there are such huge price differences in diesel. You never see that with gas.
