looking to upgrade the brakes on my 01 F250 and wanted to know if the 05 and up brakes would work or even f450 brakes. Anyone have any info on this?

 

The brakes will work, you just need the axle they are connected too and the wheels too due to backspacing changes and larger rotors. For the 99-04 SSBC has a 8 piston front caliper that works well, I have them on my 00. There are also a few other companies with even larger and costlier setups but you need larger rims to clear them.

 

Try EBC yellow brake pads. They dust like crazy but they sure do stop!
